I wanted to compare the performance of the Huawei Honor 6 with some of the fastest devices on the market.
The HH6 is currently one of the highest scoring phone on AnTuTu with a score of 36,540 (http://wp.me/p1at8R-8x), scoring higher than the Samsung Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8.
But I wanted to compare it’s performance in real life. I really like the “virtual obstacle course” that Phonebuff is using and tried to emulate the same on the Honor 6.
I couldn’t replicate exactly the same as Netflix isn’t available in my country and the Paypal App is always logged out when opening it. But it gives you some impression.
The Huawei Honor 6 is slightly slower in real life performance compared to the Galaxy S5 or the Iphone 5S. So benchmark scores aren’t everything. Nevertheless if you put into perspective that the phone costs less than half of the competition this being 3 seconds behind is quite an achievement:
- Iphone 5S: 01:48.90 (minutes)
- Galaxy S5: 01:53.02
- Huawei Honor 6: 01:56.66
